Why I’m committed to being involved…

I am committed to being involved as a Climate-X Ambassador because I believe that the transformational shift New Zealand needs to make to a low carbon economy is one of the biggest undertakings, but also most interesting opportunities, the country (and world) has ever faced.

My role at ANZ and in the Climate Leaders Coalition network provides an opportunity to explore my interest in environmental sustainability and help drive change. As an Ambassador for the Bank, I hope to champion the Climate-X movement within the company and help us play an integral role within the Climate-X Program. I hope the program will provide a successful platform to bring together ideas, resources and passion to drive actionable outcomes for our country.

My talent…

I understand how to finance solutions, and I have the ability to model ideas/data or concepts.

My passion…

Climate change – it’s the biggest existential threat we face today. I believe that any solutions to mitigate or change our impact on the environment could provide the biggest opportunities for growth.

The problem I care about…

I care about getting movement at a micro level on climate solutions – solutions that can then scale. Hopefully, these will be NZ-orientated solutions to NZ climate change issues.
