Why I’m committed to being involved…

Climate Change is the single biggest challenge to humanity and to New Zealand. I absolutely love New Zealand and its unique flora and fauna. Climate Change threatens our natural environment, its agriculture and the Kiwi way of life.

Ecotricity as a company is committed to addressing climate change by providing 100% carboNZero certified electricity from Hydro, Wind and Solar generation. They provide consumers with an option to source their electricity entirely from renewable energy generation. They offset the cradle to grave emissions from the generation that they use through planting New Zealand Native vegetation. They also fund ecoTec an educational Youtube channel promoting the uptake of Electric Vehicles. Ecotricity’s work promoting renewable generation and technology to address Climate Change aligns perfectly with my values.

I have lots of knowledge about Renewable Energy, the electricity market and carbon trading. I am well connected with people that care about making a difference.

My passion…

I absolutely love nature and getting into the outdoors. By tackling Climate Change, I believe that we have the ability to protect the environment.

I care about increasing urgency to address climate change.
